PPB Cited As No. 1 Pub By PPAI Distributors

PPAI member distributors and subscribers have rated PPB magazine as the most useful and best in overall content among seven leading industry publications in a recent readership survey.
Eighty-two percent of respondents rated it as most useful and 89 percent rated it as best for overall content quality in the survey conducted this summer. In addition, 83 percent cited integrity and credibility as ‘very good’ or ‘excellent’ and 78 percent rated its coverage of industry issues as ‘very good’ or ‘excellent.’
The study also showed distributors spend significantly more time with PPB magazine than with any other industry publication. Thirty-seven percent spent more than 45 minutes per month and 56 percent spent 15 to 45 minutes. Of the survey respondents, 70 percent said they read at least three out of four issues of PPB. In contrast, respondents who said they always read other industry magazines dropped off sharply at 17 percent and lower.
This is the second consecutive year that PPB has emerged as the leading industry magazine among PPAI member distributors which are considered the most qualified professionals in the industry. These survey respondents were a powerful group with 85 percent being the primary decision maker in the product selection process for their companies and 22 percent saying they recommend or influence that process.
This year’s readership survey, conducted in July and August by the PPAI Research department, generated a response rate of 6.6 percent at the 95-percent confidence level.
