PPAI News: Hendrick Joins PPAI, Eads and Chariton Promoted

Melissa Hendrick has joined the PPAI team in the newly created role of Director of Professional Development & Business Media. She is responsible for leadership and management of the Professional Development and Business Media departments, where her immediate focus will be an analysis of current professional development and certification offerings, management of advertising sales and development of an integrated, member-focused sponsorship program.

Hendrick is a multifaceted business and marketing executive with expertise in the development, launch and marketing of business-to-business initiatives for Fortune 100, 500 and 1,000 companies. Her work experience includes roles as Director of Global Business Solutions Development with Mannatech, Inc., Manager of FedEx Services Corporate Retail Marketing for FedEx, Inc. and Vice President of Corporate Marketing and General Manager with Primedia, Inc. Hendrick also served as Executive Marketing Director and General Manager For AeA Technology Group, a multi-million dollar global technology product and service trade organization.

In addition, Kip Eads, CAE, has been promoted to the new position of Senior Manager of Professional Development. Since joining PPAI in 2007, Eads has been instrumental in implementing best practices in program development and event management. She will now assume responsibility for a broader range of activities within the department with a focus on integrating professional development activities with other PPAI products and services.

Gage Chariton has been promoted to the newly created position of Senior Marketing Manager. In addition to his current marketing responsibilities, Chariton will focus on and be primarily responsible for the development, implementation and growth of marketing-related revenue opportunities. Since joining PPAI in 2005, he has been instrumental in the development and management of the marketing efforts for multiple PPAI departments.
