Accolades: IMA Awards Six With Professional Designation

Issue: 2009oct

The Incentive Marketing Association (IMA) recently conferred its Certified Professional of Incentive Management (CPIM) to six individuals. CPIM certification recognizes individuals in the incentive field who have met a predetermined level of training and work experience and who demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the incentive field.

These six incentive marketing professionals were presented with the CPIM certification at a special ceremony at the IMA annual membership meeting held in conjunction with the Motivation Show in Chicago last month.

Louise Anderson, president and CEO of Hastings, Minnesota-based Anderson Performance Improvement

David Boodey, president of Minneapolis, Minnesota-based RepLink

Todd Hanson, president and founder of Appleton, Wisconsin-based Catalyst Performance Group

David Peer, vice president of client services for Chicago, Illinois-based Hinda Incentives

Mark Repkin, vice president of Arlington Heights, Illinois-based Certif-A-Gift

Sean Roark, vice president of Spring, Texas-based PromoPros

To earn the CPIM designation, candidates must demonstrate their leadership activity and commitment to continuing education in the incentives field, pass an intensive exam on the principles of results-based incentives program design and develop a white paper or seminar on a topic relevant to the incentives field. CPIM recipients are required to renew their certification status every three years.
