Towel Specialties Earns Two Graphic Imaging Awards
Baltimore, Maryland-based supplier Towel Specialties (UPIC: TOWLSPEC) received two gold awards from the judges of the Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA) in the Golden Image/Andre Schellenberg Competition, presented during the 2009 SGIA Expo in New Orleans.
The first award was for four-color process screenprinting on textiles, and the second was for multicolor screenprinting on non-wearable textiles. In the past nine years, Towel Specialties has received six SGIA awards; this is the first time the supplier has received two awards in the same year.
“Knowing that 90 companies from around the world entered into SGIA competition, we are proud to be recognized as one of the best screenprinters in the industry,” says Shawn Kanak, MAS, Towel Specialties vice president of sales.
