People News: PPPC Director Of Events To Leave Association

Issue: 2010jan

Lise Bujold, CMM, director of events for Promotional Product Professionals of Canada (PPPC), announced she will leave the organization on January 27 following the 2010 National Convention in Toronto.

Bujold organized the past 20 PPPC annual national conventions and tradeshows, which were listed for several years as one of the 50 largest Canadian tradeshows. She also traveled across the country with TOPS (Traveling Optimum Promotional Show) and TOPS+, bringing the show to members and their clients.

In addition to her convention work, Bujold played a crucial part in importing the CAS/MAS certification program to Canada. As PPPC vice president for 10 years, Bujold assumed the position of deputy whenever the president was absent. She also instigated human resources procedures for the head office, contributed to board governance and was instrumental in the growth and recognition of PPPC.

“While I am excited to take on a new challenge at another association, I am truly grateful to PPPC and its members for the privilege of all that I learned serving the association for close to 20 years,” Bujold says.
