PPAI News: McKain Keeps PowerPoint And Book Available To Members
Issue: 2010jan
Dynamic business speaker Scott McKain, who impressed a packed auditorium at The PPAI Expo on January 12, is offering PPAI members online access to video clips of his presentation’s best stories, “Customer Service Lessons from Taxi Terry and Wrecked Rental Cars and Customer Service.”
From McKain’s straight-forward and well-articulated messages, members learned how to create distinction in their business. “His blend of humor and usable knowledge led me to return home, download the PowerPoint and book and share it with the others in my office,” says Eric Johnson, MAS, of Halls & Company (UPIC: IDLINE), a supplier in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. “While we have great customer experience already, he pointed out that we can still do better and we will work on ways to enhance our customer experience!”
Dan Goo, CAS, of D&J Specialties Inc. (UPIC: DJSPEC), a distributor based in Honolulu, Hawaii, says his message was particularly potent during the continued financial downturn.
“Scott McKain’s three levels of differentiating our company from others was right on target during these tough economic times,” says Goo. “His real life experiences as well as his recommendation to put things in perspective were invaluable to what is really important in our lives.”
Also included in this website are PowerPoint slides from his talk and a free download of his book, Collapse of Distinction. The site will be open for members until April 15.
