Safeguard Unveils Web-Based Training For Its Network
By: Staff Issue: 2010feb
Dallas-based Safeguard Business Systems, Inc. (UPIC: SAFE0003) is launching a new web-based learning system for its nearly 300-member distributor network this week at its North American Business Meeting in Fort Worth, Texas.
Designed as a one-stop shop for product, sales and technology training, the program currently gives individuals within Safeguard’s distributor franchise network access to more than 100 on-demand learning activities, with more activities planned throughout 2010.
“This technology will help us enhance the learning experience for our distributors,” says Roger Brooks, director of training and development, adding that the tool will not fully replace classroom training but make it easier and less expensive for distributors to get the training they need when it’s convenient for them. This is particularly effective for training new franchisees with the recent focus on expansion and acquisition.
Brooks says the company has been working on the program for the past six to nine months and collaborated with PPAI to access key content and programs. Safeguard has an estimated learner population of more than 500 individuals within its distributor network in the U.S. and Canada.
