PPAI’s Annual Sales Volume Survey Underway
By: Staff Issue: 2010mar
In 2008, promotional products distributor sales were down almost seven percent to total revenue of $18.10 billion. Did sales continue to slide last year, or did a pick up in the last quarter turn sales around?
Find out by participating in PPAI’s Annual Sales Volume Survey. Surveys were mailed out last week, but distributor company principals also can complete the survey online at www.salesvolumesurvey.com. Deadline for the survey is April 6.
Survey participants will be entered in a drawing for a chance to win two round-trip tickets anywhere in the continental United States or hotel and round-trip airfare to The PPAI Expo 2011 in Las Vegas. There will be 10 other surprise prizes awarded valued at between $50 and $100.
The PPAI-sponsored Annual Sales Volume Survey is the industry's leading indicator of total promotional products sales. The information reported is confidential. The independent study is conducted by Dr. Richard Alan Nelson, a professor of advertising at Louisiana State University, and Rick Ebel, a veteran of promotional products industry research.
For more information, contact Dr. Richard Alan Nelson at 225-362-9026. Survey results will be published in the June issue of PPB.
